Lots of Updates

I figured I would catch up on our blog while Jeremy's doing the dishes, I must say he has done the dishes more since he has been called to be Bishop than he has in the last 7 years we have been married. I hope he keeps it up. He is really doing them because I am in pain. Last night I think I pinched a nerve in one of my hips and I feel like my pelvic bone is broken in half and then keeps popping back into place and I have been nauseas all day and I have had contractions all day to add to that, needless to say I was up most the night in tears. I wish this was all a sign that I was going into labor but I am afraid that it's just wishful thinking.

Anyways here is our latest happenings in the next 7 posts after this. I have a list of things that I wanted to do this summer and we have almost done them. We always talk about doing things as a family but we run out of money and time so this summer I made it a priority to save and do what we wanted to do, since Jeremy is out of school and we paid off his student loans.

Here is my list:
Go to Movies: We saw the movie ‘UP’ in 3-D
Go to Yellowstone
Go to Hoogle Zoo
Go to Bear Lake

We still need to:
Go Miniature Golfing
Bowling
Swimming at the community pool
And we need to go to a Rodeo

I think some of these might be Family Home Evening things I am hoping to get them all done before the baby is born but the Rodeo since it does not come until August.


And here is a picture of me with four weeks left. I was asked three times last night if I was having twins. I have not had a pregnancy yet where I have not been asked if I am having twins.

Funny Videos

I finally got Bradley on video saying, "Oh, Man" in a deep gruff voice. And when you ask where his eyes are he blinks them and where his nose is he blows out of it and where his mouth is he opens it instead of pointing at it. He is such a silly kid.

Rodney and Rissa's Wedding

Congrats, Rod and Rissa!!!!! Yesterday they got married!!We couldn't be happier for the two of you. The day before we all went to Bear Lake for lunch. It started as a rainy day then it turned out beautiful and the kids got to play in the water. Bradley loved that he had the worlds largest sandbox to play in.

Madelyn got to be a flower girl, I don't think Rissa could have made a girl happier, she loved that she got to wear a flower girl dress. Jeremy got to marry them now that he is bishop so that was pretty special for him. I think the kids favorite part was the dancing.

Yellowstone

We went to Yellowstone a weeks ago.

Even though I was eight months pregnant I figured it would be better to go with the baby in than out. All I can say is I figure we were in the car 40 hours plus and that our kids are the best travelers. We saw a bunch of animals I don't know if you can see them in the pictures. We saw a black bear up in a tree, a mama black bear with two cub, two grizzly bears, elk, bison, coyotes, bald eagles, deer and lots of birds and tons of beautiful scenery.

We got there on a rainy Wednesday but it cleared up long enough that we could get our tent up and make dinner. Thursday it rained off and on but we where in the car most of the day looking for animals and going to the museums. That night however we got back and started dinner and it started to hail we got about one and half inches. We huddled in the front part of our tent and ate dinner. The poor neighbors next to us it flattened their tent. Jeremy waited up until they got back and helped them put it back. That night I could hear some wrestling in the front of our tent when I woke up to go to the bathroom I woke Jeremy up and there was a chipmunk in bag we forgot to through away. So being the hero Jeremy is he got the bag and walked me to the bathroom and threw it away and 2 am.
Friday was nice weather which was nice because we had to change to a different camp ground and we went to go see Old Faithful. The new camp ground was nice because it was big the kids ran around and played so nicely for about two hours, Bradley found a hole that he put sticks in and then took them out for about an hour plus. then we took another drive.
Saturday we packed up to go home. It took us about ten hours as we went through the Tetons and Star Valley Wyoming.
All I can say is it was nice. No cell phones. We got up when we wanted and had no set plans so we didn't feel like we had to cram everything in and we got great campsites that were close to the restrooms, which was nice for me. I hope we can every year take a little family vacation with just us to build some fun family memories.

Chesterfield, Idaho

Jeremy's day grew up in Chesterfield and Bancroft, Idaho population: Very Very Small
We went up on Saturday with Jeremy's parents where they were celebrating the 175th anniversary on Chesterfield and then we went to the old town site where we saw the home where his dad was brought to after he was born. No electricity and now is falling down and then we went to the old church and saw pictures of his great grandparents and great grandfather who helped settle Chesterfield. It was fun to learn a little family history. As you can tell Madelyn's favorite thing was the doll carriage.

The Hoogle Zoo

We went down the first Saturday in June to my nieces baptism in Spanish Fork and on the way back we went with them and my brother's family to the Zoo. It was perfect weather and the kids had fun.

8 weeks until my due date July 22nd

We are still alive!!!

After reading my sister-in-law's blog I realized I am due in four weeks not five. Yeah!!!!! (she is due a few days before me). I don't know where the mis-calculation came from but I am glad I was wrong. I am huge!!! You might be thinking I am saying that because I am pregnant but a friend just had twins and I am bigger than she ever got. At my last doctor's appointment I complained to my doctor and he said 'you get this big with everyone and gain a lot of weight but you always lose it so don't worry it's just what your body does when you are pregnant' but I said 'just because I do it doesn't mean I have to like gaining 55 pounds!'.

I know I have not updated in awhile and I have a ton of pictures from fun things we have been doing that I will upload soon. Most recently is Yellowstone where I learned that is not very fun to laugh and have contractions at the same time. (I have been having contractions since I was 5 months along so nothing to worry about) I know everyone thought I was crazy to go camping 5 weeks before I was due, where we spent about 40 hours plus in the car and 5 1/2 hours from home but I am sooooooooo glad we went it was fun and the kids had a blast and were great travelers. It was so fun to spend time with just our little family where there was no cell phone reception and we could do what ever we wanted. I'll post another post soon with pictures of it.

For those of you that don't know two weeks after Jeremy graduated we were called into the Stake Presidents office and Jeremy got a new calling... as Bishop. So much for the question of what are you going to do with all that time now that you are out of school? Poor Jeremy was completely overwhelmed and still is. He has been in for about 3 weeks now and everyday is a learning experience. Yesterday he canceled all meetings because of Father's Day but was still at the church until four meeting with people and could have been there longer but I made him leave.
Everyone asks how I am doing as a Bishop's wife (that I think is the weirdest thing when people refer to me as the Bishop's wife) I can't complain I have a great husband and children, even if they get out of control sometimes, we have a great ward that has helped me out a lot these last couple weeks and as I see Jeremy trying to learn and to help people I realize I carry very little of the burden because he can't share with me most of what he is doing because people come to him in confidentiality. We truly are blessed though to live where we live we have so many great wonderful friends I know that if I ever need help I could ask anyone around me and they would gladly help. I think everyone has already volunteered to help in some way or another.

Well that's a short update to let you all know that we are still alive. I suppose I better get to cleaning the house as the aftermath of camping seems to have spread all over it.
