Pre-School

Yeah it's over!!!! Hadley had a blast. He went four days a week for 2 and 1/2 hours to the pre-school at the college. He thought he was pretty cool stuff because he got to go to the same school as Dad. The whole focus was learning through play so of course it was a blast. I am just glad it is over for the fact I don't have to drive everyday to drop him off and pick him up.
Some of his favorite things at pre-school were:
Playing the ukulele
Making up songs
Dressing up
Painting his face
Playing outside
Writing in his Journal
Playing Lego's
playing Doctor

(I would do a slide show of the pictures but I don't know how. So if you do and would like to tell me how that would be great.)

Easter

The Easter bunny comes to our house Saturday morning. Friday night Hadley was up every half and hour from 1am on wanting to know if the Easter bunny came at 7 we let him wake up the rest of the kids.
Then we headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house to dye Easter eggs and then to Baby Animal Days with most of Jeremy's family. As I was looking at the pictures I had to laugh I couldn't get Hadley to pet any of the animals but I could get him to stand next to a 7 foot bunny for a picture. Every time Bradley saw an animal he would get so excited and laugh he had a blast.
Then we went back to Grandma and Grandpa's for an inside Easter egg hunt due to the fact that it was raining.
Sunday the kids got to wear their new Easter clothes and we went to Grandma and Grandpa's again to say goodbye to the family that came.

Tantrum

This was so funny I had to take a video of it. Bradley was mad about something so he shoved his head under the couch and cried. He looked like a little ostrich throwing a fit.

Snuggle Time

Every now and then we catch cute moments on the camera. Bradley climbed up on Hadley's lap for some snuggle time. When ever Bradley cry's Hadley is the first one to come comfort him and find his blankie for him. Hadley is a great big brother. He is always there for his siblings, when they need something or get hurt he tries to help.

Madelyn's 3rd B-day!!

I know this post has been a little slow at getting up but here it is. She turned 3 on March 23rd. All she wanted was a princess cake. She wore her princess dress all day and I made her a cake. The strawberry frosting was disgusting but the cake was cute. When she woke up from her nap and saw it she started jumping up and down she was so excited so I figure that is all that mattered. But next time I do one I will use a different frosting.

She was very excited to have her cousin Hannah come over for cake and ice cream. Those two are so cute when they get together to play.

Maddie at age 3:
She is a talker, I sometimes forget she is only three and not five or six by the way she talks.
She can say her ABC's
Know's most of her colors. Favorite is Pink.
She can count to 13.
Her favorite movie is Enchanted.
Her favorite person is Dad.
She has been potty trained since September except at night.
She has to do everything herself.
She loves following Hadley around (she often goes with Hadley to friends house to play).
She loves to have books read to her.
She would wear her princess dress everyday, if Mom would let her.
She loves to play outside and ride her tricycle.
She has the cutest smile ever.
She still takes a nap.
Her favorite veggie is green beans.
She only weighs one more pound than she did when she was two (24 lbs).
She can throw a fit with the best of them and she can be as sweet as the sweetest thing ever (Jeremy calls it Bi-Polar, I call it the 2 and 3 year old stage :))
Mom's favorite moments is when I can hear her and Hadley and/or Bradley playing
nicely in their room.

That's just a few things about our little Maddie that makes her...her.

It's a...

BABY!!! So we went to our ultrasound appointment last Friday with the kids. They were so cute to watch. Hadley would say there's an arm or a leg. I think it really helped Madelyn realize that I have a baby in my tummy.

Conversation Thursday night before the ultra sound:
I ask, "Would you guys like to find out what we are having or do you want it to be a surprise?"
Hadley says, "I want to find out because I know it is a girl because our family goes boy, girl, boy, girl, boy, girl".
I say, "What if it's not a girl?"
Hadley says, "Then we will have to get boy clothes for the baby"

Jeremy, Hadley, Madelyn all said they thought it was going to be a girl. But I really thought it was going to be a boy. I was prepared to tell them once we went in that Mom is always right but I was proved wrong...
IT'S A GIRL!!!!

I am one excited Mom to be wrong!!! I was secretly hoping that it would be a girl. I wanted one close to Maddie. I was hoping to post ultrasound pictures(we got some good 3-D ones but the scanner is having issues)

Our due date is still the 22nd of July but I have had the other three a week or more early because of complications so I will be shocked if I don't have this one by July 15th, but I would be grateful if I didn't because that means no problems:).

Lifes Happenings

Well I was hoping to post our ultra sound pictures today but we got a call this morning saying they had to cancel and we could go in next Friday. We are still undecided if we want to find out. I think it would be kind of fun not to know but it's so hard, we will see next week what we decide.

As for life, we have all been sick for the last two weeks and are finally feeling better. I took Maddie in on Monday to the doctor, she had ear aches in both ears. the doctor asked if she was allergic to anything, I said I don't know she has never had anything. I realized then how blessed we have been none of my kids have had ear aches until now and they have never needed a prescription medicine.

Other than that I got an itch to start some sewing projects so yesterday I made Hadley and Madelyn a pair of jammies for next winter (they already have enough for now and I had material). I went to go look at Easter dresses at JcPenny's and Wal Mart yesterday for Madelyn they were kind of spendy and none of them had sleeves. I don't like her to wear sleeveless things, I figure if I start now we will never have the issue later, but besides that it will still be freezing cold here so I don't think she would appreciate it anyways. I came home and looked through my materiel that I already have and found some cute pink and off white twill stuff and a cute pattern for a skirt and jacket and a little bara(is that how you spell that?, you know a little hat). I think I will go pick out some nice pastel material for the boys and make vests and ties.

That's about as exciting as things get around here. Oh yeah to add to our list of broken appliances in the last year (oven, microwave, dryer, lawn mower) our washer went out, good thing we don't have a dishwasher:). I knew Jeremy would have no time to fix it so I called the repair man and for as much as it would almost cost to get a new one ours should be fixed on Friday. The sad thing is that it is only 3 years old. After going to laundry mat yesterday to get some essentials done I concluded that it is definitely something I can not live with out, especially when you have to take three kids with you!!!
