Our First Blog

My sister-in-law was kind enough to start me a blog because when it comes to these kinds of things if takes way to long for me to figure out.
Well the kids are in bed, Jeremy didn't quit make it he is on the couch sleeping and I am up waiting for my applesauce to get done. I picked most the apples off one of the four apple trees today(unfortunately the other three did not bare fruit this year) so I am canning once again. I already did pears and peaches. It's been a fun year learning how to garden, can and freeze things so that we can make it until next year. I have the greatest neighbors ever, they have helped me so much in learning how to do all that we have done this year. My next desire is to get chickens I was talking to some neighbors who have had chickens for the last 40 years, they currently have three, I think two would be good for us. I just need to find the right spot in our yard for a chicken coupe and convince Jeremy how great it will be :).
Well I better be going Madelyn is crying, she has the flu. All she did today was sleep, watch movies and throw up. When I was picking apples she laid on the grass nearby and took a nap. The only thing nice about her being sick is that she will nuggle with me which is something she will never do otherwise. I hate when the kids are sick. Last time Hadley had the flu you would have thought he was in labor. He was up at two in morning crying and saying, "I can't take this anymore" , "When is it going to stop?", "I don't ever want to do this again".
