8 weeks until my due date July 22nd

We are still alive!!!

After reading my sister-in-law's blog I realized I am due in four weeks not five. Yeah!!!!! (she is due a few days before me). I don't know where the mis-calculation came from but I am glad I was wrong. I am huge!!! You might be thinking I am saying that because I am pregnant but a friend just had twins and I am bigger than she ever got. At my last doctor's appointment I complained to my doctor and he said 'you get this big with everyone and gain a lot of weight but you always lose it so don't worry it's just what your body does when you are pregnant' but I said 'just because I do it doesn't mean I have to like gaining 55 pounds!'.

I know I have not updated in awhile and I have a ton of pictures from fun things we have been doing that I will upload soon. Most recently is Yellowstone where I learned that is not very fun to laugh and have contractions at the same time. (I have been having contractions since I was 5 months along so nothing to worry about) I know everyone thought I was crazy to go camping 5 weeks before I was due, where we spent about 40 hours plus in the car and 5 1/2 hours from home but I am sooooooooo glad we went it was fun and the kids had a blast and were great travelers. It was so fun to spend time with just our little family where there was no cell phone reception and we could do what ever we wanted. I'll post another post soon with pictures of it.

For those of you that don't know two weeks after Jeremy graduated we were called into the Stake Presidents office and Jeremy got a new calling... as Bishop. So much for the question of what are you going to do with all that time now that you are out of school? Poor Jeremy was completely overwhelmed and still is. He has been in for about 3 weeks now and everyday is a learning experience. Yesterday he canceled all meetings because of Father's Day but was still at the church until four meeting with people and could have been there longer but I made him leave.
Everyone asks how I am doing as a Bishop's wife (that I think is the weirdest thing when people refer to me as the Bishop's wife) I can't complain I have a great husband and children, even if they get out of control sometimes, we have a great ward that has helped me out a lot these last couple weeks and as I see Jeremy trying to learn and to help people I realize I carry very little of the burden because he can't share with me most of what he is doing because people come to him in confidentiality. We truly are blessed though to live where we live we have so many great wonderful friends I know that if I ever need help I could ask anyone around me and they would gladly help. I think everyone has already volunteered to help in some way or another.

Well that's a short update to let you all know that we are still alive. I suppose I better get to cleaning the house as the aftermath of camping seems to have spread all over it.

TreeHouse Museum

A few weeks ago I met up with an old roommate from Ricks who came to town with her family and we went to the TreeHouse Museum. The kids had a blast she has one Hadley's age and one Maddie's. There was a little town with houses from different countries, a doctor's office, a kitchen, vegetable garden, a place to play knights and dolls and dress up and blocks, computers, a music room and tons more for the kids to do. It was blast! Bradley thought it was great because of all the space to run around in.

I don't have very many pictures of Hadley because he was to busy running around. Madelyn's favorite part was the houses and the bathroom, they had a little kid toilet and little sink just her size I didn't know someone could that excited over a toilet!.

It was a nice day to go hardly anyone was there so we didn't have to worry so much about the kids get lost amongst the crowd. I also needed a little break the night before in Hadley in his prayer said 'bless that Mommy will be happier.'

It was about an hour away from us but if you ever need anything to do with your kids it was worth the trip :).

Soccer, swimming lessons, story time..Oh My!!!

We put Hadley in his first year of soccer. We did indoor it was cheaper and was only two days a week opposed to three. His first game he was really stiff and not sure what to do. The coach had to keep telling him to quit folding his arms. He made a goal his 2nd game. Basically all they did was run in a little group back and fourth. He had a blast.
Well the week after soccer the kids started swim lessons and story time. Every night we had something going on. Madelyn cried and cried the first day of swim lessons and was timid all the others. The other little kids in her class where splashing and playing while she clung to the teacher. Needless to say she did not pass Level 1.
Hadley on the other hand was a little fish. His favorite part was holding his breath and going under water. He passed and gets to go to the next Level.
I don't have pictures of story time but Madelyn loved going to the library and into story time with Hadley now that she is three.
I had debated about putting Hadley in tee-ball or swim lessons again this summer but I think I am done running around and so are the kids. I am glad we did it early so we have the rest the summer to do what we want with out having to worry about being on time for something.

Graduation!!!

Congratulations, Jeremy!!!!!!!!!! I must admit as Jeremy walked into the theater wearing his cap and gown tears came to my eyes. I am so proud of him and his perseverance, it might have taken a long time but he is done( He reached his goal and finished before he was 30 and before he had 4 kids, he just turned 29 and kids number 4 is on it's way:)). He got his bachelors degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Human Resource Management.

I would say for a college graduation his was perfect. There were only 26 graduating in the Natural Resource department so it was more intimate and a lot shorter than other graduations. After wards his department hosted a nice luncheon. Jeremy and his family then went to his soon to be sister-in-laws graduation (Congratulations, Rissa!!!) I took the kids home. Then we had a luncheon with some of my family that live in Utah and some of Jeremy's family and friends. It was a nice day despite the rain.

In honor of the occasion we got the kids Aggie shirts, they thought that that was pretty fun!!! It was great that the kids could be there and I hope it is something that they will remember so if they decide to go to college they will know that if Dad could do it they can do it too.

I just want to thank all the family and friends that came to support Jeremy I know it was a drive for some you but it meant a lot to all of us. I want to especially thank Jeremy's parents they have always been a great support they are there for everyone and anything going on. Once again...
Congratulations, Jeremy!!!!! We love you and thank you for all the hard work you have done for our family.

(If you haven't notice by now we have a little double exposing problem with our camera I didn't know that was possible with digital camera's but apparently it is with ours)

Pregnancy Update

I don't have a pictures but according to Jeremy I am huge!!! I actually feel smaller than with the other ones, if that is possible.

I took the gestational diabetes test and failed it and then I went into the hospital and took the 4 hour test. I was sure I failed it but it came back normal except for the second hour it went up some and then went normal. So am not labeled as having gestational diabetes but I still am suppose to watch what I eat. For my Birthday Jeremy got me an exercise bike, I try to do 5 to 10 miles(at a super slow pace, I tried to do it fast the first day but I had contraction the whole next day) on it a day which I think has helped a lot.

As for aches and pains when ever I lay down and try to move or switch sides I feel like the muscles under my belly are being torn apart. I have felt this with the last two pregnancies too but I thought it was normal so I have just dealt with but come to find out by talking with several people they have never had this happen to them and that there is a little band you can put around your tummy to make it feel better, I think I need to find me one.

Of course there are other aches and pains but that's life, only three more months:)
